NEW ACADEMIC YEAR 2025 -2026

The start of classes will take place on September 29, 2025.

The Postgraduate Diploma (PMD) leads to the award of a Master's Degree (MPD) in "Interventional Cardiology" after the full and successful completion of studies of a minimum duration of four (4) academic semesters.  

Holders of a first-cycle degree from the departments of Medicine and Nursing of the National Technical and University Universities, as well as other departments of domestic universities or corresponding recognized departments abroad, are admitted to the Postgraduate Study Program, provided they meet the necessary requirements.  

In the academic year 2025-2026, the teaching of courses will be implemented through the distance learning process and/or the mixed learning process (blended learning, i.e. teaching in a classroom, but also using modern distance learning methods) and asynchronous distance learning, which does not exceed twenty-five percent (25%) of the credit units of the Master of Science (MSc), in accordance with applicable legislation and the provisions of this decision.

Interested parties can submit their application until 07/09/2025 along with the following supporting documents:

  2. Curriculum vitae
  3. Copy of degree or certificate of completion of studies Students from foreign institutions must provide an official translation of their degree as well as a certificate of correspondence and equivalence from DOATAP, in accordance with art. 34, par. 7 of Law 4485/17. Seniors who do not yet have a degree at the time of application may provide a certificate from the relevant School that they have successfully completed their degree exams and submit their degree as soon as they receive it.
  4. Certificate of undergraduate transcript
  5. English language proficiency certificate (level B2)
  6. Statement of interest and documentation of the reasons for choosing the specific postgraduate program  
  7. Two letters of recommendation.
  8. Scientific papers/publications (if any)  
  9. Other information indicating scientific or work experience relevant to the subject of the postgraduate program, as well as other activities.
  10.   Photocopy of both sides of the police ID card
  11.  Solemn declaration (with the original signature or via gov.gr) of the prospective student stating that: all submitted supporting documents are exact copies of the originals.

The selection of postgraduate students will be based on the above supporting documents and the results of the candidates' interview.  

Candidates will be informed by phone and e-mail about the date and time of the interview and for this reason they are asked to state their contact information (telephone + e-mail) correctly and legibly in the application.
